In retrospect this was kinda dumb

So, I was having a busy afternoon. I knew I would not be able to leave the office for lunch, so I go online and order a Domino's Italian baked sandwich, some Lays potato chips and a coke. The total is $10.59...then when it got here I tipped $2 when I signed for the credit card. My inability to leave caused me to spend twice as much today as I normally spend on lunch. Maybe I should have just had a snack from the vending machine and endured until dinner.

why didnt u get someone to pick u up some lunch?

I hate running for others, so I assume they'd feel the same way. Oh, well, the sandwich tasted good. 😉

I hit up the drive thru across the street from the office at times like that. You couldn't step out for even 10 minutes to pick something up?

$12... that's how much papa john's "the works" pizza costs... and that feeds at least 2. That's the only food I ever order online.

$12 for lunch... did you hit the jackpot? Most working Joes pack lunch. I bring last night's dinner for next day's lunch. It's not left over, it's left before.

12 bucks for lunch honestly isn't awful. It's hard to eat for half that in near here unless you get fast food. When we go out, we try to hit something local, and it tends to cost a little more. Supports the neighborhood businesses, and I happen to live near where I work, and is probably not nearly as bad for us.

Of course, I had Chipotle ($6) today 🙂
