i got one of those fraud things today. I am curently in negative dollars right now.

does anyone know if they have already taken money straight from my checking account? (since there wasnt enuf in my paypal to cover the fraud bill).

also, if i close that account and start a new one with the same checking card, will they know?

they will take it from your credit card! not your checking account, if you have no credit card, they will send the money owed to collections agent and ruin your credit if you dont pay it back!!

Yes, but that's rediculace (or the spelling of that word ;))! It's not us that should have to fork out the money. It's the person that sent the money. The implemented the service, they made people confirm their address, it's their problem, not to poor sucker that gets the money robbed from his account and loses the product he sold.

BTW: Even before verification you had to get a letter in the mail and enter a code in on the website before you could use a CC.

I would say yes... I have put a hold on PayPal for my CC and Checking. Also I removed my accounts. I'm not the one that should pay for this...

Paypal is a wonderful company, providing a valuable service and operating a flawless system. If you have problems with them, it must be your own stupidity. They are beyond errors.
