Mork, it in rememberance of those that sacrificed their life in the name and service of our country. Please do some research as to who these units/servicemen were and what they sacrificed before making a comment like that.

In remembrance to my fellow Rakassans from Delta Company who fell on May 1969. In the battle for Hill 937. In deepest remembrance for co-pilot 1st Lt. Jerry T. Lee and rest of the crew of "Dustoff 927"; from the 326th ("Eagle Dustoff")Medical Battalion. Who during their attempt to save us took a SAM hit. Their chopper hit the ground and the crew was trapped in the twisted aluminum and bent steel. Minutes later the wreck exploded in a horrific conflagration. They were burned alive in that chopper. I will never forget those crys of horror. A twenty-one salute to them and my fellow Rakassans. Before my moment of silence.

<< To those that know the nickname for Hill 937. Please out of respect for these men, keep it to yourself. For I do not want to see the rest of this thread to turn out like the Pearl Harbour threads. I Thank You >>
