ANyone with this problem coats them with Vaseline. They even have a non-greasy kind available now.

You're a runner I take it? If not and you have this problem, there's probably something else going on with you.

Name brand bandaids work great, little rectangle ones or the circular ones and should hold on long enough even to carry you through a marathon before coming off. I've had no success with lube like bodyglide.
and besides, men's nipples aren't exactly useless.
Exactly. I don't want to post the URL that I saw on Tosh.O but suffice to say google "sensitive nips" and you'll learn things you wish you hadn't.

Yes, I just started running. But its even a pain with regular day to day stuff if you wear the wrong kind of shirt. Can't wear a coarse golf shirt to work without it happening, so I need to wear a cotton tshirt underneath and its 35C outside. That's not very breathable.

Just lop these goofy looking things off!

+1 for Bandaids. My first half marathon, my nipples were chaffed like crazy. They weren't bleeding, just hurt to touch and probably a few miles more from starting to bleed. Next one I ran I put bandaids on over them and had no problems. It's never been an issue til I started doing half marathons.

So no, don't remove them. Besides, you or your significant other may want to milk them one day.
