I would like to raise a toast to some of the fine "fortysomething" female folks on this board who help keep us geeks in line, who help calm the troubled waters, and who can make us smile even while they are cuffing us upside the head.

I don't know about the other ladies, but WombatWoman is not "fortysomething." Not long ago there were 2 threads in OT that were wishing her a happy 54th birthday. Mods deleted the threads, I don't know why, but I don't think they deleted them because they said her age.

I would like to add Isla and GirlFriday to this list, I know they are no where near 40, but they are "older" to me, and are very nice and intelligent ladies.

As for the other women on that list, they all rock. They are fun, witty, bright, and make coming here soo much more fun. Everyone of them are a great benefit to this place, and I love them all to pieces. Besides, baffleds armed and deadly with that trout, I know I have to be nice. 😀
