Fortunately, Andrew Luck doesn't have a retard for a head coach who would keep running him around the field even with only one good leg. Way to go, Mike Shanahan!

THIS!!!

RG3 should have come out after the first quarter. Even he admitted after the game he twisted the knee after the 2nd touchdown, mind you it was obvious he was hurt when he could barly walk.

Can't believe they left their franchise QB out there when it was obvious he was hurt. With all the holes in their defense and O-line they would have not made it to the SB this year anyways so why push it like that.

This. I watched their second touchdown series, and watched when he twisted his leg. Every time I popped back into the living room to catch up on the game, I was amazed he was still in. Cousins proved himself to be a backup quarterback who could step into the same system. I don't know why they didn't do that.

I have a feeling it hasn't hit the fan yet. I've heard reports that RGIII was not cleared to return by the doctors. If that pans out, Goodell may come down hard on Shanahan. Or, at least he should.

If I heard right he was cleared for last nights game but it was one of the previous games Mike said he was cleared but the Doctor that was named came out and said he did not clear him.

Correct. My understanding was that it was a previous game.

Man, a clean break would of been better than what happen during last nights game. He tour the hell out of his knee, and that could take years for it to be the same. But then again, A. Peterson showed us miracles could happen, but he at least sat out for the season after injuring it.

It will be interesting to see what the MRI reveals. I'm going with a grade 2.9 sprain. I don't think he has a full blown tear as the brace prevented further injury but he twisted it up about as bad as he possibly could without complete rupture.

Redskins are probably looking back right about now and thinking they got fleeced.

RG3 on the road to "one year wonder" and the Rams are sitting pretty yet again. Probably able to trade down and amass more riches.

LOL Redskins and the RG3 Nuthuggers

your prediction was year 1 when they won the ncfe, not year 2 when they had an unhealthy qb coming off a 2nd reconstructive knee surgery.

if anyone thinks rg3 is "the" reason the redskins suck, you don't know much about football. how's the kirk cousins experiment going? they are 0-2 and will probably get rolled by the giants this weekend.

they suck because they are a bad team all around

And trading away two first-round picks, one of which could end up being a #1 overall pick, won't help them get better. They could've kept the picks, drafted Cousins, and either been in this position or better.

or they could have done all that, and had a bust of a different pick. we have no clue and hindsight is 20/20.

i'm not worried about rg3 at all at this point. i'm not on his nuts drinking the koolaid, but i'm not worried at this point because he's shown huge potential and hasn't really had a true off season to get better. it's 100% obvious he isn't healthy just by watching him play, so i'll wait to make a judgement on him next season, also after the skins will be over that cap penalty and can actually pay for talent. i won't mind at all if the showcase of cousins in these last 3 weeks leads them to trade him if they can get a decent pick for him.

the redskins have the worst starting field position in the league. they also have the highest punt return average in the league. they suck big time because they lose the field position game in nearly every single game by a long shot. any offense who has to constantly start at their own 20 or worse won't be scoring many points having to do 80+ yd drives regularly.

there is just so much wrong with them.

And we know who won't -- the Redskins! 😀 Of course in that super weak division, they could still manage to win it like they did last year.

jesus tapdancing christ--why do you get so giddy over what happens to the redskins? they have absolutely no bearing on your colts team.

and you were wrong about that prediction a year ago.

so, just toss a darts blindly at a calender and as long as you hit one out of several years, you are somehow right?

lulz

he was also wrong about his prediction of goodell coming down hard on shanahan after rg3 got injured. but he didn't want to quote that one because he was wrong.

he reminds me of the dbag ravens fans around here who constantly talk about the redskins when the only times they even play the redskins is once every 4 years or if they ever meet in the superbowl.

I was also laughed at last year when I detailed how the Skins should have chosen Riley Reiff (OL) instead of RG3 and solidifying the pocket to complement Trent Williams. They would have had a solid blocking corps to protect Cousins (or Russell Wilson or whoever they would have drafted in the 2nd round) and they'd still have their first round pick this year. Instead they bought the hype into the spread option bullshit when the future of the NFL is passing (as evidenced by defenseless receiver and lovetap QB penalties). In order to pass, you need to solidify the pocket. Reiff is doing well with the Lions and would have been a major upgrade on the opposite end of Trent Williams (by far their best player on offense this year). Montgomery and Polumbus are solid, so then they would have just had to get another Guard and they would have been golden. Instead, we get the shitshow that is the 2013 Skins and they have no 1st round pick this year.

Boo fucking hoo, Daniel Snyder made his bed when picking a QB without a knee instead of upgrading the OLine.

Can you tell me where I "predicted" that exactly? Here was the post I found:

Doesn't look like a prediction to me. Do you think, however, Goodell should've come down on Shanahan if RGIII was not cleared by doctors and returned anyway?

I'm glad you bumped this ICF; everyone loves lulz at the expense of the redskins

It's not impossible that the current thread title could be applicable again in 2014. Does anyone put it past the Skins to trade for the Rams #2 pick twice in 3 seasons? I don't have anything for or against WAS, but holy crap would that be glorious.
