In NERO, how do you control the order of the songs?

you can't on mp3 cd's... I haven't found a way yet at least. drives me crazy.

I find it intolerably stupid that it lets me import an m3u playlist... and then completely ignores the order the songs were in.
So far, my workaround is to rename all the songs with 000_, 001_, 002_, etc in front of the file name once I'm in Nero. My head unit is supposed to read m3u files, but doesn't seem to actually do it.

I had this exact same problem. The way I circumvented it was by ditching nero and using iTunes to burn the mp3 disc. I downloaded iTunes just for this purpose and it WORKED! It won't ah heck up your song order.

folders...or preface each filename with a number

Re-naming 100+ files isn't my idea of fun.

MP3 discs are the only thing I use Roxio for.

For an mp3 disc, or an audio CD? If the former, which version are you using? Maybe they fixed it and I need to upgrade...

ugh...I HATE nero for burning normal music cds....was gonna post a thread about it....it burns skips into the songs for me for some reason.....i've used the mp3's before so I know it's not them....and the cds come out fine with other programs...

meh...for MP3 I just dump songs on, burn, and push shuffle on my head unit in my car.

I used to do that, but my head unit doesn't remember that it was in shuffle mode when I turn the car back on like my old one did. Does your unit keep a memory of the songs it's already played? That's what I'd really like.

Nero gets praises on internet forums, but what the hell if it can't do mp3s in order?
I just reburned my disc with itunes, and it worked.

Thats a computer problem, not Nero

MP3 cd's are just data disks

All Computers will reazd them by alphabetical order

There is no way Nero or any other program can
choose the order of playback
