Please get beyond the fact that my mail is hosted there..I'm in the process of moving it over Christmas so I won't lose any mail during the move.
Here's the problem:
I can access my e-mail from their mail.yahoo.com portal and can send and receive only via my cell phone (a treo 600 on the sprint network). The phone gets new email without a problem, but neither Outlook or THunderbird are able to hit the pop.
Outlook gives me this error:
Task 'pop.bizmail.yahoo.com - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC90) : 'Your incoming (POP3) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: -ERR problem retrieving message.'
Thunderbird (on 2 machines other than the one I'm usiing Outlook on, 1 on the same network and one at home) give me this error message:
The RETR command did not succeed. Error retriveing a message. Mail server pop.bizmail.yahoo.com responded: problem retrieving message.
The fine folks at Yahoo have made the claim that everything is fine on their end and that it must be an issue with my ISP although I can pop fine to other e-mail accounts.
Earlier today when I was home I was able to use one machine with Outlook Express to get my mail without issue while I got the above error on another machine with Thunderbird on the same error listed above.
Any thoughts on what I can do (beyond the obvious like switching from OUtlook or switching hosting companies).
