In my entire life I have never met one anti-vaxxer and only seen a handful on TV.

The females in my family seems to be stricken with misfortune in certain instances with vaccines. Apparently, nothing happened to me of note. No stories regarding me. Sister was a baby with a near-death experience she recalls the experience of. Whatever happened, 911 was called and they administered something to get a full recovery. But it is clear her heart did stop beating.

Recently, my aunt in Hong Kong got the Chinese COVID vax and alleges her condition tanked from her baseline.

The real issue is that rare events are still real events, and there are serious matters of being equipped and willing to address those rare times shit does hit the fan.

I haven't bothered getting vaxxed yet because it appears that a dietary change and possible developed immunity hasn't resulted in another COVID infection with overt, noticeable symptoms yet. Grains+Sweetdrinks+avoiding D and C sources was my life prior to the dental crisis and randomly discovering fish as a partial symptom reliever of the brain fog.

I would say I'm not anti-vax but I do consider the medical pros and scientists motivated by profits. Hence, there is likely an intentional diagnostic underreporting of vaccine incidents, which is a corrupt tactic not just limited to medicine. It's just that blue collar jobs like mechanics more easily trigger suspicions when they toss out BS explanations of issues.

Probably some segregation is materially pointless, i.e local community colleges full of young people socializing, some of whom may be asymptomatic and spreading even with vaccination. The primary effect is less about health but rather denying convenient access to human capital and the resulting potential higher earning potential that human capital provides. There is an alternative that involves going to a different CC in a more far out, more sparsely populated county.
If only there were a way to compare the risk of not being vaccinated to the risk of any potential side effects of vaccination. Then we could assess the benefits associated with the vaccine and consider whether the vaccine is safe and effective enough to be worth using in the first place.

It's like somebody should try this on a limited scale before we release it to the wider public. And because we don't want any shady business, we'll have a review process as well to ensure safety and efficacy. Then we can feel confident that what we're getting isn't snake oil and legitimately reduces our risk against whatever disease or infection.

I just wish somebody would think about these things!!!

What if effectiveness is not in dispute but misconduct of people involved in the industry is the issue.

Government is a revenue chasing automaton, thus cronying up with companies is the default when government isn't its own company.

Furthermore, merging human bodies via statistics is being out of touch with the physical properties of human or any other living individual. That perhaps 90 individuals in group X comes out unscathed doesn't mean nothing happened to the 10 who don't.

Misdiagnosis of the intentional or grossly negligent kind simply to bury publicity isn't going to be checked by a review process. Getting a license to operate doesn't mean people will not doing things to help their own interest. Pretty much every field a company operates in has their shady operators, be it plumbing, mechanic, and yes white-collar filth like doctors.

That myocarditis in younger men managed to manifest itself and be admitted as a legitimate risk despite the corrupt diagnostic bias of practitioners and scientists is indicative that there is a legitimate cost for a select group within the population, and one that is understated because the white collars fudged the data.

I know one hardcore antivaxxer. He also is a flat earther, believes in pizza gate, thinks the moon landing was fake, believes paypal is working with the NSA for some kinda conspiracy, etc. Oh and he's a republican.

I know another who was antivax for covid but he talked to me after I got both of my vaccines and was shocked that I didn't have anything really bad happen or have long term effects from it. Then he told me his family kept sending him all of these articles about people dying from it, etc. I was like dude check the sources on them.

Needless to say, he's also a republican and we don't really talk about anything politics related as I just don't care about politics.
