Hey guys, I'm currently in the market for a new Ninja 9-ZR. I have never purchased a motorcycle before and I was wondering where I could go online or off to buy one of these puppies. I live in New York City and I don't mind traveling to get one. Can anyone resommend a good place or website that I can go to? Thank you very much.

No experience. But I'm a quick and cautious learner. I still want the bike though. Any places I can go for a good deal?

I have one important question: Is it like buying a car? Can you make deals on the bike? Drive for a lower price?

Since your a first time rider with NO experience, suggest you take the MSF Course. You HAVE to take it if your under 21.

Now the NinjaZR9 is a 900cc Bike... its a super sport, its fast, really fast. I dont know if you want to be in that one. Also look into insurance (shop around before you buy the bike), you will see that you will be paying close to atleast 2000K/yr for that bike. I know you have heard bikes are cheap to insure, yes they are but not when you have zero experience on a super sport.

I suggest you tone down the choice of a ZR9X and go something like the Ninja 500R. Its smaller and still got the looks and the power.

In the mean time if you dont believe me post your questions on www.motorcycle-usa.com

No.. the motorcycle market doesnt allow you to drive down the price. There are factory and manufacture rebates but that's about it. Its rare to find a dealer who is going to give it to you at a lower cost.

Thanks TGG, but I want to stick with the 9ZR because I want to grow with it. Too bad they don't discount their prices. how do I find out about the coupons?
