My last post because as I said, my intention was never to flame you. Just point out how hypocritical it is to criticise someone for buying a product you personally don't like. Your signature has a link to a product (yes I know it's not real) from Apple, the link says "iSheep" on it. The implication is that if you buy Apple products you are a sheep following the herd. It is undeniable Apple holds the majority share at this time in MP3 players. So they are akin to the 800LB gorilla in that arena and everyone is following the herd by buying iPods. Sure, you don't go around naming names but you're lying to everyone and yourself if you say the implication wasn't there.
Another thing. It's funny how you have to try to defend yourself by calling someone else childish. Seriously, that arguement along with castrating John Doe A for typos and spelling mistakes seem to be the comeback replies whenever John Doe B has no other valid counterpoint to a discussion. Two times you've called me a child now. Calling someone a child is always used to imply that the person is immature, ignorant and unknowledgeable. In all my years of posting on multiple message boards I've noticed saying or implying someone is immature, stupid or ignorant seems to be the top response when one has no valid arguments along with rediculing someone for grammar.
Your retort to my comments was to twist my words around and somehow come up with me saying the iPods suck. Which I never said. That and call me a child. And you say other people are unable to discuss any real issues...maybe because you get way too defensive when someone points out your obsession with hating Apple products? If anything your arguments make you look more childish than I do.
Accept that people don't need all these features in an MP3 player, which is to play MP3's. Accept that not everyone thinks the iPods suck. Accept that not everyone thinks Apple products suck (and I haven't owned or actively used an Apple computer in over 10 years). Just like I can accept the fact that you don't like Apple products. I don't think the sound quality of an iPod is as bad as you say it is. Nor do I find lack of extra features a detriment to the product because it does what it was meant to do and does it at a more than acceptable quality to me. Yes, these are my opinions and everyone is entitled to one.
