^And that is why GRRM is a good writer. Theon is a "bad guy", but it isn't simply black and white. He was a prisoner for a good portion of his life. He wasn't free to leave the Stark's service. His greatest offense was he offered his father terms with the Starks, thus they rejected him as an Iron born, who take, not accept what is given.

Sansa betrayed Starks
Thoen betrayed Starks
Arya is betraying her self as a Stark and rejecting her Stark life for the life of nobody.
Bran is becoming a tree
Jon smells like a Stark but is actually the Lord of the Rings
Rickon is still a Stark but is a Book 6 plot point away from being a wannabe Last Airbender guest star.
Caitlyn is now trying to find Rick and Daryl for a chance of cupcakes. She stop being a Stark after going for a swim in dirty water with poorly made gills.

His father wanted to free his people from the rule of a foreign entity that did not share the values of his people. His rebellion against Baratheon ended when Ned Stark and Rob Baratheon defeated him, killing Theon's brothers in the process.
Theon, a 9 year old boy, was taken from his home to serve as hostage for ten years.
When granted an opportunity to rejoin his family he does so serving their cause. However, due to his absence, his family rejects him.

At this point, Theon has been taken from his family and accepted by noone. The Starks treated him well but reminded him that he was not one of them. His own father rejects him.
To win his favor from the father who rejected him, he takes Winterfelll from the people who crushed his Fathers rebellion and killed his brothers.

When he takes rule, he deals with the one person who challenges his rule and does so in a manner appropriate for the world built by G.Martin.

His worst offense appears to be the killing of 2 innocent boys.

Sansa betrayed Arya so she could "keep her prince Joffrey" resulting in the death of an innocent boy, Sansa's wolf and also results in Arya losing her wolf.
Sansa betrayed her own Father resulting in her father's death.

Sansa betrayed to chase her fairy tales
Theon betrayed his captors and the killers of his brethren.

Not following your posts, is this from the book ? You win. Though I thought they were doing him some kind of favor by taking him, wasn't aware he was hostage.

There is no winning here...just friendly conversation.
Everything in that post (I believe) was covered in both the book and the show.

Theon has been a hostage in one form or another most of his life. First to the Starks. Now to Ramsay.
I have a feeling he preferred the Stark's treatment over Ramsay's.

Which would only be 10,000,000 times more interesting than anything related to that stupid stupid game of thrones show

no one is forcing you to post in this thread or watch the show. besides, standalone mp3 players are a complete waste of money, time, and energy.

you may not realize this, but there are other devices that play mp3s just as well and have 100x more functionality.
Phone is not suited for this purpose. On the mp3 player I have hardware switches for next track and volume.

I've tried the phone but it doesn't work for me. I do not know why that is a problem for you.

A Sansa Clip+ is perfect for the gym. It's tiny, super light and cheap enough that you don't care too much if it gets broken or lost. The hardware buttons also make it simple to change tracks without needing to look.

Maybe MrDudeMan doesn't go to the gym. :D

I bring my phone and a bluetooth headset to the gym and on runs. It has the hardware buttons that apparently make you guys hot and bothered plus it's still essentially my phone. $20 and I can talk to siri, send texts, thumbsup/down pandora songs, and answer calls without having wires clipped to my clothes or in my way. There's no way in hell I would ever go back to a device with no bluetooth especially for the gym.

mp3 players make no sense considering what else is available. Maybe 5 years ago before the proliferation of smart phones and bluetooth, but not anymore.

Oh, and Sansa Stark is hot.

Damn, those are some big ass headphones. I guess if you don't do a serious workout, you can use those along with your huge smart phone.

(Wow, you're right. It's easier to be condescending and arrogant instead of being aware that different people may have different needs. :p)
