Oh noes, some stole the box cover art. Now they'll have to delay it for 6 for months.

What's the spec requirements for the game anyways? I am REALLY trying to avoid doing anymore upgrading on my PC for a while.

"The minimum system specs are currently targeted at a 700 MHz PC with 128 MB RAM and a DX6-level video card TNT2 etc, meaning you won't need a supercomputer to run Half-Life 2.

But on the machine above don't expect to see reflective water, dynamic shadows and bump-mapped textures. The game running at maximum detail 50/60 fps, machine required for this is approx 1600Mhz cpu, 256 mb ram, GeForce4 Ti card.

In real life you need the best from a new game so I would recommend a 2000 cpu, 512 mb ram, GeForce4 Ti4800 128 ddr or ATI Radeon equivalent.
The more power the better but not essential with this game."

Found that on some website, but it looks accurate.

It is supposed to eventually make its way to the Xbox. Probably not for a long while though.

Christ you guys are impatient... the game was announced about 7 months ago and you're complaining about delays?

Thanks. I've got AMD XP1700+, 768megs of RAM, and a GF4TI4400 so I should be ok for a while. Just don't want to spend any money on computer stuff right now. :)

I'm seeing places slate this for a NOVEMBER release. If that's true, that would be a fvcking FOURTEEN month delay on the game. That is totally unacceptable IMHO. I'm not saying I won't buy it, because I obviously will, but why even bother setting a date if you're that far off?

those dates are set as an estimate by whatever retailer is giving the date. valve/vivendi games has never set an official release date.

When will this game actually be released? Cause I have gotten sick and tired of waiting for it... this is getting a bit rediculous if you ask me... same thing with doom 3. Do you think we will see either game before summer? Also with halflife 2 pretty much any machine will be able to run it from what I understand, they had an article about it in maximum pc a while back. DX9 based video cards will be able to run the game with pretty much everything maxed out... I am sure that there is probably a link to the article somewhere.
