Id go with Isreal hands down in a conventional war..

O RLY?
The Royal Air Force (often abbreviated to RAF) is the air force branch of the British Armed Forces. The RAF is the oldest independent air force in the world, formed on April 1, 1918. The RAF has taken a significant role in British military history since then, playing a large part in World War II, and more recently in conflicts such as the recent war in Iraq. With some 942 aircraft and a manpower of 49,210 (in 2005), the RAF is one of the largest air forces in the world. It is also one of the most technologically advanced, a position which is being enhanced significantly with the purchase of 232 Eurofighter Typhoons.

yes and?
that means nothing if they cant fly them...
the US in war games constantly PWNS the brits... USN and USAF in excercises never won..
the only country that ever impressed any of our pilots in war games was Isreal.. several times during my service they were able to best us in war games and penetrate the carriers defences
I dont care how big an airforce is if they arnt trained as well and have as much combat experience as another..
remeber that Isreal is US equipped as well..
F16s F/A-18s F-15s and other modern US aircraft in thier inventory
Eurofighter is overrated crap btw.. every dogfight we ever had with it versus our F/A-18Cs and Ds not even superhornets in excercises they got pwned...
and F-16s really dog it bad... lol Id love to see an F-22 raptor flat out rip them a new one..
