Im buying today, i am stuck between the following. Give me some advice please.

GIGABYTE "GA-K8NS PRO"
Pros: Supports up to 8 IDE devices, decent price
Cons: I heard something about it only running at 333mhz or something when running 2xDDR ram (any one know what i am talking about)

ASUS "K8V SE Deluxe" K8T800 Chipset
Pros: Decent price, still supports up to 6 ide devices.
Cons: I heard that it does checks on something uneccesary when it is booted up and causes it to have a slower boot up time. (perhaps someone has more information)

MSI "K8N Neo Platinum" (MS-7030)
Pros: People say it has good sound from the motherboard, looks good.
Cons: only supports 4ide devices, and the cost is the highest im looking at.

Please keep in mind that what ever i buy must accept dual channel ram (i think) If im running Corsair Value Select (Dual Pack) 184 Pin 1G(512MBx2) does thaty mean i am running dual channel?

Will these boards support my ram?

Which MB do you guys suggest? Please give me reasons you suggest them.

Out of those i would get the Gigabyte board.
Yes this motherboard will run fine with that ram, but the s754's dont support dual channel only the s939's do :) have fun.

The concencus is that the Asus K8V is riddled with problems and isn't worth it. The K8N model might be better.

The MSI board has alot of supporters but I think there are cheaper, less problematic boards like the Soltek.

Yep, I'd get the Soltek... but out of the ones you listed, the Gigabyte... if you are an Asus guy, the K8N-E is much better than the K8V SE.
