so i am pretty much sick of my fraternity brothers, pretty much all of them. the whole thing is a big lie. now i am looking to move out of the house for my last semester, or year at school. the catch is that pretty much all off-campus and on-campus housing are gone. fvck. am i stuck? or is there some other options that I haven't thought about?

if you are in the cornell area, are you subletting for fall 05?

there's always housing- whether it be somethign optimal is another thing. either suck it up and stick with the frat bros or find one of the less desired hence still vacant housing options.

i guess i am targeting the wrong audience: homophobes, people who don't get laid, don't know what a clit is, etc etc.

talk to whichever people control housing. There's usually a room they can stick you in dorm-wise even though they're technically full because vacancies get created by dropouts and failouts or people who decide to commute and cancel late. They'll try to convince you to stay where you are, so you may want to prepare a persuasive argument.

Cornell eh?
I should be starting classes @ P.A.M there in Fall of 2006
What school are you at? Which frat?

If all else fails there are plenty of bridges to jump off of around there.

PAM is gonna be easy. too easy if you ask me. you won't have to worry about jumping off bridges, though it sucks to walk by a couple everyday knowing someone has jump or will jump. oh well.

You're the whiner who can't deal with his fraternity, don't insult us.

Definitely the rub. Definitiely.

The thing about your frat and your "brotherhood" is that it's always been a lie. You were just part of it before, and now you're not. Fortunately, you can still re-enter the lie if you want to... or you can move out.

I dunno know what the housing situation is at Cornell. In Urbana-Champaign, you could find a decent, single-person place for cheap on any given day of the year, even if you limited the search to a few blocks. Finding a place for two people would be harder if you wait too long, for three would be even more difficult, etc.

Even in Santa Barbara you can find a one-person place near campus any time of the year. It's gonna suck and cost you a fortune, but that's true any time of the year.

Start looking for a new place or re-assimilate to the brotherhood... watch out for that flagpole.

unfortunately the housing at cornell is atrocious. a room off campus can be as much as 700 a month. i did get an offer to live with a vet student in a mobile home in the middle of nowhere. in any case, i have decided to live in the house, it's only gonna be another semester. and i don't have to deal with lease and stuff.
