It's not as exciting when your team has won 2 of the last 4 Superbowls, but it will be cool to watch the games again.

You must be a former NYC metro area guy who took his pain with him out to Colorado.

Or maybe you're related to Fireman Ed.

It's amazing what happens when your team wins. I like the NFL*, but I'm a baseball / Red Sox nerd. After the Sox won 2 World Series in 4 years, the games are completely different, without question. I still watch almost all of them, but the 'must-win' feeling is long gone. The dread of losing is long gone. I still hate when they lose, but it's nothing like it used to be. Nothing.

*I used to love the NFL. Couldn't wait for Sundays. Now the game is way too choppy with the ridiculous amount of commercial breaks:

Kickoff - commercial
Run 3 plays, punt - commercial
Team timeout - commercial
Kind of a long-ish drive - commercial
Turnover - commercial
etc.

It really messes with the flow of the game. College has started to suffer from this as well.
