In 7 years of using ebay - I just filed my first dispute

An idiot sent me a laptop palm rest missing the left mouse button - even though his auction said "pulled in great condition".

He refused to do anything to fix unless I incurred additional cost.

The most frustrating thing is that there were no broken pieces in the shipping box so he packed and shipped it already broken.

:-(

I hate d1cks like that..

I won't deal with people that have more than 1 negative or less than 99% positives (whichever is lower) just for that reason.

One time, I bought Star Trek DS9 Season 2 on DVD.. 'Completely sealed and unopen' as described by the seller. I get it.. and the fvcking barcode (part of the storage box) is CUT OFF. That @asshole!!! ARGHHH!!

In the end, as much as it pained me, I gave him a positive.. because I didn't wanna ruin my 100% positive rating. But the more I think about it, the more I think it was my civic duty to give that fvcktard a negative. People need to know what that jackass was doing.

NEW, UNOPEN, SEALED is NOT 'barcode cut off but sealed otherwise'

Did he go with the usual response "if you needed it to be in a specific condition, you should have asked before bidding"?

This is why I'm always hesitant to buy from another person online.... you never know if you are going to be hit with an asshole.

I bought a mobo recently, paid a good $60+ less than Newegg, only 6 months into the 3 year warranty, the guy never registered it so I can do so without a problem. He repacked it in the original retail box, every accessory in their original baggies, everything. Fricken amazing the condition this is in, looks brand new minus the shrink wrap.

people like you ruin the feedback system. you are too afraid to take a hit to your precious 100% positive. take a neg from a moron now and then if that's what it takes to expose fraudulent ebayers. people you want to deal with are the ones who will see retaliatory/moronic feedback for what it is.

I agree. This guy is going to hit me and it is going to hurt more than mine will hurt him because of sheer volume.

I only was fvcked over once when I purchased a "new in box samsung 900". It wasn't new-it was used and the swing mech was screwed up-along with the service light-gave the bastard a negative and got the same in return, didn't mean much for me since I have 65 positives.

I filed the dispute and he finally came through refunding 100% of my money including shipping. I don't know why he wouldn't have done this before I filed the dispute. 🙁
