Why is it that the method to clean the most disgusting and bacteria filled part of your body is done with just simple, dry piece of cloth?

With all this emphasis we put on washing, soaping and cleansing our hands, faces, mouths-- none of which comes in contact with the most vial thing that our bodies produce--why is that we don't have any method to improve the post-excretion process?

Often, especially after depositing a big meal, I feel like a simple wipe down just doesn't cut it, and nothing short of a soap down/shower will do.

I can't be the only one to feel this way can I?

You're a naughty child, and that's concentrated evil coming out the back of you.

User more/buy thicker tp. Or wad. I don't like to wad though. But I'm not so environmentally responsible that I'm above folding up like 8 sheets. What I need is disposable silk sheets to wipe my ass with. And an income to make wiping my ass with silk sheets fiscally viable.

The empasis we put on the hands and face is because that is the easiest way for germs to get IN to the body and for germs to spread.

If everyone gets bidets, toilet paper use will decline significantly.

I don't understand it either, nor do I understand some of the resistance to bidets. When you go take a shower, you use soap and water, not a dry roll of paper towels.
Or hey, if you've got cats, next time, clean the litterbox bare handed, and just wipe off using toilet paper. Good enough, right?

Use the wet-wipes.
A slight improvement. To take my metaphor another step, instead of a dry roll of paper towels in place of a shower, take a wet-wipe too.

A bidet is an accessory to tp. You're still supposed to use toilet paper before.

I've got news for you - Occasionally, in the heat of the moment, it's OK to to go ass to mouth.
