No, just my 2 cents

yes if they are directed towards the hot spots in my case which is around the cpu,chipset and video card area. I have my case open right now and when i measure the temp around that area i get something around 90f or more while other areas in my case like hardrive area or bottom front is right at ambient or 70f. on hot day my ambient goes up to 50 c and this is with case open. A side blowhole fan right over the hotspot should solve that problem.

Yeah side blow holes, and a top chimney blow hole should do the trick.

I recently modded an Antec 1030B case. You can view some of the pictures I took at this link.. The case is fairly quiet and not bothersome to have sitting next to you. The intake and exhaust is mathematically equal at 100 CFM.
