Improve Boot Time to <15 secs

I just got an Intel SSD a X25-V. A fresh install and a few tweaks later my computer boots up in 15 seconds. Of which 7 are due to the Bios. What can I do to improve the boot time further? I'd like to try to get it down to 10, it seems like speeding up the bios would be the easiest way.

My specs;
Q9550 @3.4ghz, 1.15v
P5Q-E
8gigs (4X2) GSkill DDR2 1066@480Mhz
ATI 5830

I'm not near to running the ram to its limit. Would that help at all?

Unless your BIOS isn't up to date, I'd doubt you could do much improvement for boot-up. The traditional BIOS still has to initiate and check for each component installed on the motherboard (video, sound, processor, etc).

Last I checked, the older BIOS format, didn't allow for multi-threading during boot-up. I'm not sure if the newer format UEFI allows for multi-threading during boot-up or not.

Set the SSD as first boot device.

Turn off unused SATA/PATA ports so BIOS won't scan them.
Change the used ports from AUTO. There's usually a setting in BIOS that'll detect the drive and keep the configuration. This is faster than autodetecting every boot.

Turning off AHCI and going down to 4GB will both reduce your boot times. Dunno if it is worth it though. Just use sleep or hibernate.
