Recently I purchased the SD963 heatsink / fan from Newegg and here are my impressions. Currently $28.99 shipped on Newegg.

System Setup:
i7 2600k @ 4.0ghz
Asus P8Z68-V LE
16gb ram
9600GT video card
Current Room temp 69F
Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound

Installation impression: Very easy to read instructions, and took about 20minutes to install. You do need access to the back of the motherboard so beware of that. The bright-side is most newer cases have access cut outs for easier aftermarket heatsink fans. I went with the 92MM fan instead of the common 120mm fan because of size + clearance concerns. And it ended out working out beautifully.

Temps:
Used Intel Burn Test to test load temps (5 runs)
Stock HSF: Idle - 32C Load - 62C
SD963 HSF: Idle - 28C Load - 42C!!

While in the idle state the temps were nothing to be noted but under load temps I noticed a 20C change and the noise difference from OEM / SD963 was amazing. I could hardly notice the fan running when the system was under full load.

Conclusion:
Awesome performance and pricing for what you get here. Go buy it if you have sizing concerns and if you have a limited budget.

Interesting reversed airflow you got there. The fan at the back of the case pulling air in, with the CPU cooler pushing air to the front of the case. What other case fans do you have?
