impossible to move? wtf?

I'm trying to upload a few pictures of my new car to my personal website, which uses Coppermine gallery software. First I was getting errors because the files were too large; I haven't used this in a while and I forgot what the max sizes were After I fixed that, I started getting this "impossible to move" error when trying to upload. What the heck is this?

looks like I've got read, write, and execute permission on all the necessary folders.
