Impossible to fix? TV2000 XP software no longer detects the card, but DScaler works.

I've tried reinstalling both new and old drivers and apps. Nothing is working. Windows sees each of the devices when I update the drivers. Only the TV2000's software gives me an error message. Please help :(

Bump. Card still isn't automatically detected by PnP. Only detects the that new hardware is there, but doesn't recognize the drivers, as it did when I first installed it.

Same problem here. The BTWincap drivers and DScaler work, but the original drivers will not install -- aren't even recognized by windoze.

things were working fine until I decided to try the BTWincap drivers. I wanted to try the timeshifting app (since I finally installed adecent antenna), but after removing BTWincap, windoze (win2k, SP3) reports the new hardware as a multimedia video controller, but does not recognize the divers that were originally installed (downloaded from leadtek). Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Have you guys tried a different PCI slot.
First take it out and reboot the machine (uninstall the software first of course).
Try it in a different slot and reinstall drivers THEN App,

Been a while since I messed around with this, but it's still not working.

I tried changing to a different PCI slot -- no luck. I also tried manually deleting all of the registry entries that I could find that refered to the BTB drivers. Still no luck. Any other ideas other than a new install of windows?

DScaler works great, but I'd like to use the remote and PVR features again.

If you guys find a solution, please tell me! I've even had Leadtek send me a new card, and I have the same problems...yet DScaler works fine:

Since my computer was out, I decided to clean my computer from dust build up this morning. Well after cleaning and connecting everything back up normally to my monitor I tried to launch my WinfastTV PVR app to watch some TV and I got the following error: "Capture stopped! Device may be lost" When I try to play the FM tuner I get this message: "FM Radio device not found!" <EX: 80010002> "Cannot open recording device" I've tried everything, reinstalling the old drivers/old apps, new drivers/new apps, ....deleting registry keys...everything! Nothing has solved the problem. However, I know its not a hardware problem or a driver problem because, oddly enough, DScaler works fine, suggesting that the hardware and drivers are fine and the software is buggy? I downloaded the latest software off leadtek's ftp site: ALL_TVAP_30130.zip (softare with EPG) and ALL_TVDRV_30130.zip (drivers) These are the latest driver/software releases (i was using them fine before today!). Has anyone encountered anything like this...Any ideas on whats wrong?

ARGGHHH! Got my card back today from Leadtek...actually they just shipped me a brand new card, but I have the same problems!!! I guess it must be a software problem or a conflict with my machine. I've downloaded the latest drivers/app (which is getting increasingly confusing...the ftp site is a maze and there are endless versions of the software posted) but I have the same problems. Yet, DScaler works fine....??? Plus the card had been working fine for 7 months!

Ok...somehow my card came back from the dead tonight and is working again.

I am really not sure what it was...but this is what I did.

I downloaded and installed the latest nVidia detonator drivers and latest VIA 4 in 1 drivers and rebooted.

I then uninstalled the Winfast PVR software/drivers/cleaned registry keyes/deleted Winfast Program File folder...

I then rebooted and did not install the drivers for the card when asked.

I then downloaded and installed Microsoft DirectX 9.0a and rebooted.

This time I installed the drivers for the card and add new hardware wizard to the latest driver release folder (ALL_TVDRV_30130).

Then I rebooted again.

Then I installed the latest PVR software: ALL_WinFastPVR_30513.exe and rebooted again.

Then miraculously my PVR software worked again....and now I'm watching TV through Leadtek's software. Although, I have absolutely no idea what caused the problem in the first place, nor do I know what solved the problem.
