I recently picked up two Anthenatech A106 MicroATX cases. I really love them (plus they were on sale at Newegg), sleak, nice looking, easy to work with. Well, I guess they're easy if you're going socket A. I've got two Soyo P4RC350 (also from Newegg, they were on sale like $20/each). So I'm finally getting around to putting the systems together. Everyone said it would be a tight fit for the CD-ROM. No problem I thought, I bought a Samsung DVD-RW that's a couple of centimeters less long than regular drives.

Well, long story short, I still can't get the damn thing to come within about 3/4 of an inch of fitting. I figure my cooler might be the problem, it's an Arctic Super Silent 4TC, It's overall dimension is 88(l)x92(w)x73(h), the problem dimension is the 92mm wide. But looking at how the cooler is clamped on, I can't see that any other one would be less wide. As it is, the drive has about 40mm clearance over the top of the 478 cooler mounting bracket (about 60mm total from the mobo to the bottom of the drive), and is actually directly on top of where the bracket is.

So basically I need something that has an overall width of no more than 80mm. Does such a thing exist? Does anyone else have any experience w/ this case. Am I going to have to go socket A?

Any help appreciated.
