IMPORTANT: Anyone who got the free credit report!

I know there has been a thread here and in hot deals about getting a free credit report. I along with a large number of others in the AT community went ahead and did it. Today while on the phone with my bank mentioned the free credit report. The bank said there are only 3 places that can give you a legit credit report (Equifax is the only one I remember). He recommended I cancel my credit card (that I gave them) immediately! He also said that the scale they used is not a legit one. There is no way to be sure if this place is legit or not, but better safe than sorry. I thought I should pass along the info. If anyone gave them an active credit card I would recommend you cancel it.

all they got was the number... they would need experation on it as well... which I guess wouldn't be to difficult to figure out, but it wouldn't take to long for CC card companies to figure out what was going on...

That's a pretty well-known name, E-Loan, I doubt they're trolling for CC numbers.
I checked my statement online, no new purchases...
thanks for the heads up though
