Import "modeling"... your thoughts?

Didn't bother reading the whole thread...

but I thought import modeling wasn't about how attractive your face is...it's about your body? Can anyone vouch for that?

I was told once that I looked like import model material..based on how my face looks (and b/c of the asian thing)...but then I said...I don't think i have the right body for it (I'm not curvy enough)..and they said.."well..yea...but you can make modifications to your body"...and I said.."GOODBYE". Heh..modifications...bah!
 
i think she'd make a nice import model. At least she looks better than some of the stuff I see on the mags..

As for the other peoples comments of not having ho-ho's, I think hers are just fine (natural to boot) - there's no substitute to the real thing..

very true... there's not a lot of pretty import models... the pretty ones are who get noticed most though. they look rather typical after a while... some of my friends model but not a hardcore thing where that's pretty much their life.
 
LOL...people here kill me. You show them any pic of a girl (or mention girl and they yell pic) and you know that 90% of people here would "hit it" without question, or scream and runaway like a little child if they had to make real contact with a female not named rosy. Then when you put pics up of an obviously sweet looking girl, we hear "she's ok but she has no boobs", or "i've seen better". Your friend is very cute and if she wants to try import modeling or any kind of modeling, good for her. For the record, I don't even know what the hell an import model is but I can assume based on the words "import" and "model" 🙂
 
I use to actually be in an import car crew. I will leave that anonymous for now but we also had some friends of ours pose and go to the import shows with us. We paid them nothing and only did it for us because they wanted the publicity. Import modeling is a great way to start but modeling is a very tough business to get into especially when you're in CA and there are a million cookie cut barbie dolls. Your friend is cute but I don't think she is model material, sorry to be so blunt (but I'd date her 😛). Import models aren't thought of as a very high caliber model. If your friend is serious, I mean very serious, I'd tell her to consider going to a talent agency and hopefully she'll get some leads there. Be an extra in commercials, movies, whatever, just get yourself as much exposure as possible (not in the nude sense). Good luck in whatever she decides.

they're models that stand next to the cars during import showoffs... imports being those fixed up hondas and the like... i agree that her friend should try it...🙂

Okay, I don't mean to imply anything, Dezign, but I have to ask this based upon a past incident here. Is your friend aware of the fact that you linked her site here and have said this about her? I remember the incident of Simone K. She came crying and her bf defending her 'cuz you had posted something similar and a link to her site, but other members criticised her appearance. According to her, you hadn't gotten her consent to link people to her site and she was not pursuing professional modelling at that time. I hope this one was with the consent of your friend.

On that note, anything works for me if it's to be a model for car shows, so long as that's what she wants.

everytime im at a show with my car i always see the wannabe import models wandering around with as little clothing as possible and realize most of them are still in high school. girls love attention even if its coming from hormone charged adolescents. so to get your ego boosted + get paid is a beautiful thing.

most import models either get into porn or uh stay in what theyre doing. Francine Dee is still my favorite.
 
I sent u a PM about ur friend, but as far as Import modeling goes, its rare to see cute models, but if that's what she wants to do, more power to her!

Are you guys on crack?!? I am a little partial to the exotic looking thin girls (seeing how I grew up with 99% caucasian people around me I like a little change of scenery and can appreciate different things), but if she is going to be there at the next SoCal get together I'm thinking of going to it....and I live in NorCal 6-7 hours away!!! 🙂
