Implications of MultiCasting on DSL

Hello,

Say I have a DSL connection and wish to host a web site and a small internet radio station. How would multicasting help, and what implications would I face in using it for the radio station. Also, why would a web host not allow me to multicast?
 
Multicast service is not universally available, and most DSL ISPs don't have it. Unless you have multicast connectivity to the MBONE and other major providers, the packets aren't going to get there, and so it's a moot point.
