Once a vote is made but before it's final, can anyone change their vote. I know it's too late for this one, but for future task votes.

Yes, until majority is reached re: plans and until I post the results post, you can change your vote by sending a new PM or posting an alternate vote. Of course once the task plan is accepted it's too late to change the team members.

Also: don't edit old posts to change a vote.

I did misunderstood though. I thought the scanner could be use at the start of the turn not at the time the task is finalized. Otherwise I would have not have given it to DixyCrat since he won't be able to use it till after the team is assembled. Ideally I would have given it to the 3rd or 4th manager.

As much as I would like to have proof of my undying loyalty to the Empire, I don't think we can infer anything from the order of pm's - can we? And how would we even know the order. I guess we're assuming that Chiro listed them in the order received. But that might be a dangerous assumption. As game master, it's in his interest to reveal only as much as the game requires - right? Otherwise, if we know we can rely on him to give away who voted for what, that makes things too easy for the empire.

Of course it's completely possible (likely) I have no idea what's going on.

As a complete newb to this style of play, I don't know enough to even think about trying to be deceptive. If I did try, I'm virtually certain I would end up shooting myself and my beloved Empire in its metaphorical foot.

That's fair. However, we have nothing else to go on as far as the force scanner, so it would still be wise for Dixy to check as I mentioned above. Maybe the order meant nothing...maybe it did. Let's have Dixy check and report.

NOW, this follows exactly the pattern of a game I have on my shelf called "avalon" + a scanner. Supposing that the distributions are the same that means there are 3 people on team Rebel-Scum. So that leaves 2 out of 7 since I know I'm team Empire. Just imagine your name in place of mine if you know you're no Rubble Scum.

I'm going to send a group of people with the least suspicion, but also in a telling way. I'm going to send people from the bottom of the list so that there is no long-con incentive on the part of the Rebel Scum. This way if there's a fail we can narrow down the Rebels.

Thinking about it, there may be SOME long-con incentive. So we can't just "clear" the group if they don't fail things; however there isn't enough long-con incentive given the relatively minor change in probabilities.
