iMovie 09 Help

I'm working on making a movie on the birth of my son from this past week. There are some clips where I had to ask relatives questions about something. I would prefer to have my voice removed from asking the question so that the persons response is only heard. I would trim the clip so that the part where I am talking is removed but I like what the relatives are doing while I am asking the question (ie waving to the camera, etc)

wow, no help yet

maybe its a little wordy but this is what I am looking to do

<video clip>
me: "how are you feeling"
person: "I'm feeling fine"

I want to edit out the audio of me saying how are you feeling but want to keep that part of the clip because I like what the person is doing (waving to the camera)

Can you demux the audio and video and bring those into imovie separately, or will it do that for you? If that's the case, then you can just spot-adjust the levels on the audio, so long as you're not both talking at the same time.

What you want to do is split the video/audio into two separate tracks. It's in Edit->something. Then you can take out the parts of audio you don't want.
