Same here. I am also a first generation of LEGAL immigrant. I came to the US with no shoes (just sandals in December cold weather), no money (not even a penny), just a shirt, a pair of paints, and a small plastic bag. That was it. Nothing else.

I worked my tails off to be where I am now. It pissed me off in no end whenever someone who whined/complained about their OWN failures on someone else. Yes, racist is bad and "subtled" racism is still alive but do something about getting better instead of laying down there and bitch about it.
