those of you that came to the US from a diff country

nm: i'll assume you used some means to get here

but

what made you stay back?


I am seriously thinkign of reasons of why i want to stay in US ( i came here as a grad student) and i have a job now, I am from India ( i am sure i can find a good job there if i wanna go back)

Obviously the money wont be the same but its relative, thing are cheaper there too


I dont really have any family here, so thatz 1 reason i want to go back


I work as a software developer and i wanan eventually start my own software company, so my logic is if i have 2-3 years solid experience here if will help me in a long way when i go back

just kidding i was born in the US, why would you want to go back to india , its a sh!t hole,

my parents moved here 30 years ago from mumbai and they only go back to visit not to live.
 
in a crate box thrown overboard from a drug raid and brough into customs. they felt sorry for me and let me stay
 
We moved here from Scotland, though technically I was born on US soil. We came here because my father hates the UK government, and he's been able to be much more successful here. I don't know if I'm considered an immigrant since I was born in an American hospital, moved right back to Scotland, then cameback to America 5 years later. I don't see why I would want to go back to Scotland, my memories aren't all that pleasant.

get a job here with a bunch of other guys from your country, so youre here...but it feels like home...?
