Thought I would share my experience with an imei swap service I bought on ebay. Not only do they fix your blacklisted imei the phone will be unlocked as well, nice added bonus. There are several places that do it on ebay and for all kinds of phones, this is the one I used. I choose this one since they had great feedback and they actually have a physical store in their town

I had bought an Att Galaxy S5 that I knew had a bad imei for a really cheap price, the imei service cost me $50 and I paid to ship the phone there. Withing 1-2 days the phone was on its way back and works great. The seller also said I have a guarantee on the service. I gave it to a family member and they have been using it, all good so far. When I check the imei it comes up as a Korean Galaxy S5. Before this I figured they may have swapped a imei of some other model phone
