I saw Harry Potter in IMAX on Saturday in Atlantic City. This was my first IMAX movie but I think it was worth the extra $5 or so compared to a regular theater.
There were only a few really impressive moments in the 20 minutes of 3D, mostly when things are flying towards you. I could have done without the rest of it.

I do have to say thought that the size of the IMAX screen really does make it a lot more immersing.
