Imation or Memorex DVD+R's?

I have a decision to make. I bought some Imation (Ricoh) DVD+R's over Thanksgiving for $1 each ($50 for 50) and I'm trying to decide if I should keep these discs that I haven't opened yet or buy 50 Memorex (CMC) DVD+R's for $40 or .80¢ each.

What would you do? Keep the Imation (Ricoh) discs for the $50 or return them and purchase the Memorex (CMC) discs for $40?

BTW.. I have a HP 300e external 4x +R/RW dvd burner. So far I've only tried the Verbatim (I believe that they are Ricoh as well) discs in it and they work great. They work in my dvd player as well too.

What to do..

TIA!

I would say either one should work just fine, both brands are pretty reputable.

both have worked equally well for me, in fact I have yet to get a bad DVD+R no matter what name is on them.

If the return process is worth the 10 bucks, do it. The media should be just fine.

I ended up buying the Memorex and returning the Imation. The Imations worked out to be $1 each and the Memorex worked out to be .80¢ each, so if they work the same, why keep the more expensive ones. I thought about keeping all of them, but I'm sure that I will find a better deal than $1 each on these dvd+r's by the time I use up the 110 (bought 60 Verbatim on a previous deal) that I already have.

Good choice, stay away from CMC - those over at dvdrhelp.com tend to agree. FWIW, the Memorex 4x +R discs that I use are made by Ricoh and I've never had a problem with them.
