I think this is suppose to start on Sunday but they currently have it on their site. 5 dvd+/-r and 5 jewel cases. Seems nice if you need a few dvd+/-r's.

These can be had for $3.69 if bought at Bestbuy for $17.99 and getting a 110%PM.

EDIT: These might be 2.4X media? How long will it take to backup full data on this media at that speed?

4x takes 15 minutes so 2.4x is around 25 minutes.

They are listed in next week's add starting this Sunday.I just get them today because they put new price on the shelf already. They scan at $14.99 but manager overrided price to $4.99.DVD-R burned fine on Lite-On LTR411S(flashed from LTR401S) at x2 and plays fine in stand-alone player.
SKUs are :
DVD+R 2023-2865
DVD-R 2033-7761

I am with you on that. The Pasadena, CA OM *always* sells out of the good deals the moment they open (that is, if they even had them in stock). I went today around noon and they were sold out of all of the good deals (such as the free AR Memory Card Readers).

And of course I just tried to order Memory Card Readers online and they are "currently unavailable."

OfficeMax sucks to the max!
