The product description is.....inconsistent. "CD-R 8x Certified is a top quality CD-R product which meets or exceeds the performance specifications to write at 2x through 32x speeds on qualified writers."....8X Certified, exceeds 32X speeds on qualified writers? Wonder which ones qualify. The pic shows 24X spindle, but title says 32X....doh, I'm in need of new media too. Maybe I'll give in, but thanks for the post anyway, evergreen
That deal is not for the B&M, it is for their mail order part of Microcenter only. They are out of stock online .... maybe they will bring back the price later on.
I got in on this deal at my local B&M.. Only it was for 24x and not 32x though. I did see something on Techbargains about this deal with the store substituting 32x for the 24x, but my local B&M had plent of stock on the 24x. 24x is fine for me since I have a 24x burner. Besides, the Imation 12x that I still have burns at 24x successfully anyway..
Go to OM B&M, PM this ad with theirs, however much they cost, then pick up a rebate booklet, and send in the $25 rebate. Worst case scenerio is you get back the $17. What does everyone think? Will it work?
The deal was with BM as well for the same price. The Microcenter I went to had mix Imation speed grades from 16X to 32X, substituting as they ran out of one. I bought 1500 of them cause of the price myself. Good luck to everyone else.
