IMAP errors on host (PHP) or IlohaMail?

I've installed IlohaMail (www.ilohamail.org) on my host and have configured it to use IMAP. I'm occasionally getting the following random errors:

Warning: fsockopen(): php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known in /home/fiesty00/domains/fiestyturtles.com/public_html/webmail/include/imap.inc on line 208

Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to mail.fiestyturtles.com:143 in /home/fiesty00/domains/fiestyturtles.com/public_html/webmail/include/imap.inc on line 208

I've posted to the IlohaMail mailing list and have yet to get a decent response from there, and also checked with the host's support, but they don't support 3rd party clients. Anyway...I thought I'd check with AT.

Does anyone have any idea what the above errors might mean? The errors happen in a variety of places, and refreshing will fix it shortly, then they will appear again. Its almost like a a timeout is happening or something. I'm not sure if I'm looking at a PHP/IMAP problem on the webhost, or if there's something wrong with my IlohaMail installation. It looks like it has something to do iwth that fsockopen() function call, but I'm at a loss as to where to go. IMAP seems to work fine in Thunderbrid and Outlook, its just the web client install. Any ideas?? Thanks!
