Imaging software for OS8?

So Ive got a super old imac here, its running os 8.5 96mb of ram and somthing like a 300mhz cpu. Well I would like to image the hard drive because its running a rather important database, ive got an extra mac of the same make lying around so it would be nice to be able to restore one image to the other one.
Ive used ccc before to image my newer macbook, but it dosent support anything that old.
Any ideas?

I can't imagine the drive is that big so I'd probably see if I could find a PPC Linux LiveCD and just use dd to grab the whole drive byte-by-byte.

since those old imacs are usb 1.1, your fastest method will be using a crossover ethernet cable @ 100BaseT speeds.
set a fixed IP address on both imacs, turn file sharing on one, and mount it from the other.
drag copy everything you need.

am I the only one amazed at a system running OS 8.5 still.. that seems to be running some critical stuff? Is there any way you can get that data to a newer system?
