I mean how fucking terrible is that?

All future wanna-be Nazi's just really waiting and hoping for their future Hitler to truly arise and unleash their passion and hate.

The COVID-19 accomplice serial killer seems to like nazis, so the base is right there with him.

According to the Michael Bender's book and John Kelly, the orange menace praised Hitler.
“Well, Hitler did a lot of good things,” the then-president told then-White House Chief of Staff John Kelly

Donald Trump Reportedly Praised Hitler During Trip Honoring U.S. Troops, New Book Claims

and this-----------------------------
Elsewhere in Bender’s book, he said Trump wanted troops to “beat the fuck” out of, shoot and crack the
skulls of civil rights protesters who assembled following the police killing of George Floyd.

“Well, Hitler did a lot of good things,”

I've heard that only exactly once before.
And that was from an actual Neo Nazi playing idiot in the national guard. How the f he passed background checks is anyone's guess.

Trump simply admires history's strongmen. Doesn't matter if they got millions killed or tried to literally exterminate an entire people. He lusts for their power.
Exactly. Because he’s a sociopath the death or suffering these monsters caused doesn’t register with Trump. He sees a guy who conquered most of Europe and ruled with an iron fist, which Trump thinks is badass.

If anything I would bet the genocide actually impresses Trump more.

Correct. If he saw the scale and scope of the genocide the Nazis conducted he'd likely be effusive in his praise for their efficiency and ingenuity.

That's an important distinction. A lot of people ascribe a cunning, deliberate evil to Trump... but a lot of it boils down to him being a pathological narcissist and very, very stupid.

That Hitler was one of the worst people in history wouldn't even cross Trump's mind. Trump's thought process likely boiled down to "he had absolute power and unquestioned loyalty like my ideal CEO role, and I want that."

That's the disturbing part of Trump's presidency — that he was moving toward authoritarianism not because of a Machiavellian scheme, but because he thought being President was like being a CEO (i.e. everyone does what you say, and you can make yourself powerful and rich). In some ways, the most dangerous people were his cabinet and advisors, the ones who aided Trump's simplistic vision but had at least a bit more of the intelligence needed to carry things out.

Sorry OP, I'm unable to imagine having ever been a Turmp supporter.

Even for Trump that seems unusually deplorable.

I don't think this is the first time he's said that. I seem to remember him saying something similar with regards to questions about why the fuck he keeps a copy of Mein Kempf next to his bed.

Remember when the GA Secretary of State taped Trump pressuring him to fix the election. Brad Raffensperger had an attorney on that phone call with him, a man named Ryan Germany.

During the call, Trump said “Why don’t you want to find this, Ryan? What’s wrong with you? I’m sure you’re a good lawyer. You have a nice last name.

From the article:

Trump made the remark after Kelly “reminded the president which countries were on which side during the conflict”

I wonder if all those veterans and "greatest generation" types who supported Trump had any idea how fucking stupid he was.

Trump may as well be a mannequin with a speaker in its mouth spouting all manner of vile and disingenuous vitriole about his enemies (ergo his supporter's enemies) as far as most if not all Repubs are concerned. He can do no wrong so long as he keeps up his support of those who would like to see our gov't implode in order for them to rebuild it in their image.

The Nazis, the supremacists, the fundamentalist religious throwback reactionaries, the anarchist militia among others.......they're all in Trump's camp and care, and they all feel disaffected, left out of the decision making processess of democracy ironically due to their hatred of how the Constitution and the Rule of Law, the very fundamental code of conduct we are all supposed to live by, have rendered them outcasts, dregs of society, the disavowed. They are the ones that through Trump, are now in control of the Repub Party and sadly so, the other members of that party have felt obliged and/or threatened with excommunication, have gone along with these insurrectionists in their party.

Seems someone's written a book about this very aspect of the Trump administation.

The Cruelty Is the Point: The Past, Present, and Future of Trump's America by Adam Serwer (goodreads.com)

The truly sad part is that the Republican party is afraid to take a stand against this lunatic!!
Some people say this is not the same Republican party that our parents voted for way back when.......I am not so sure!! Richard Nixon did predict this would happen.....if that is of any comfort!@

Trump supporters still LOVE DONALD TRUMP.
They do believe that Trump will return to the presidency in August 2021. I assume that this belief refers the outcome of the cyber ninja recounts(s) going on in AZ, and soon to be conducted within other states. The Trump people (queue the twilight zone music) believe that the recounts will prove Trump actually won the election and thus Trump will march up to the Whitehouse and right into the oval office chair this August. THIS is what they believe. And most of this hinges on QAnon because ALL... all of the ENTIRE Trump cult is now entirely QAnon. Every republican man woman and child as well as every republican state governor and every republican member of congress. QAnon's all of them!!!!!!!

And just today.... it was announced that the security fencing installed around the capital after the insurrection, that security fencing will be taken down. This leads me to believe that the Trump insurrectionist are preparing to assault the capital once again..... IN AUGUST. And security knows this, so WHY and WHO decided to remove the fencing knowing well that QAnon plans for Donald Trump to return in August..... ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.

PS. I don't know about you, but every time I see the face of Donald Trump in a photo or flashed across the TV, I cringe. It's like if Adolf Hitler came back to life. The very memory of Donald Trump sends a chill down my spine. PURE EVIL.
