Gotta love these things. This particular disclaimer accompanied a commercial for an LG mobile phone.

But why stop at simply making it look bigger?

"Price modified to appear lower than actual retail price."

"Advertised product simulated and bears no resemblance to actual product."

It's not the phone that looks bigger or smaller, its the images displayed on the phone. They're enlarged so you can actually discern what they are on your TV, but will look different when being viewed on the actual phone. So in other words they're covering their asses for when someone complains that the image they're seeing directly off of the phone isn't as good as the one seen on the TV.
