IMAGECAST

Well, the version of ImageCast that I used awhile back ago didn't have CD-RW support, Ghost 2001 does. This comes in handy when you do a install you OS, Office and all the up to date drivers and burn the image to CD. All you need to ONE CD with a compressed image on it. If you had the choice between ImageCast and Ghost 2001, I definitely go for 2001. It just has alot more options. 😉

with imagecast cast i noticed one thing that you can actually make images of the apps you want to install, so it would make one image file just for the apps, does ghost 2001 also do that?

I read a similar post at tek-tips.com and it depends on what you'll use it for. The general consensus was that for mapping images across a network, Imagecast is supposedly faster. But for just personal use, Norton Ghost is more practical.

thanx, it helped me alot, some how i ran into a program called desktop dna, which is compatiable with imagecast, i think i am gona go with that, thanx ya'll.
