image on screen shaking with GF2 GTS...

my geforce2 gts (creative OEM) shakes on any other resolution besides 75hz. it shakes slightly and without period left and right...it even shakes when I'm posting. I have tried switching monitors. It is the video card since I moved the video card to a diff computer and it shook too. This card worked fine in may, but since the summer, I have had this problem. Would transporting my computer in a car have damaged the video card to cause this type of problem? It is weird because the video at 75hz is fine. My only problem is that I can't play CS since CS somehow switches refresh rates and i get shaking (my aim is bad as is).
is this a defective card? would a bios flash help? I'm out of luck since I bought this video card off a trader in AT FS/T forums in terms of warranty. Any ideas would be appreciated.

It sounds like you have a defective card since you've eliminated the system and the monitor as the problem. I would suggest flashing the BIOS on the card before giving up.

Also the GeForce FAQ might have some tips on this issue.

Not necessarily, which board is it? Some of the companies are very good at covering the warranty regardless of change in ownership.

the card is made by creative labs, but is the OEM version since it is NOT the annhilator 2 series...its pretty much a plain vanilla GTS.

Have you tried a different monitor cable? This occasionally happened to me with a Visiontek GF2. Switching to a BNC cable gave me clearer 2d and completely eliminated the shaking screen.
