Imac disk burning

I have a strange issue where disks that I burn in Windows (Boot Camp) on my Imac are not readable on a Windows PC. It is consistent, I have tried different brand disks, plus & minus, same result. I have also tried the burned disks on different PC's, the disk is not seen at all. Makes no sense to me but the problem is very consistent. I use ImageBurn to burn the disks. Curious if anyone else has run into this issue.
