imac 233 Upgrade Options

I am about to make a purchase on imac 233
it's got...
64MB Ram
4GB HD

i was wondering, what kinda upgrades are out there for this machine?

oh, in case you are wondering, i'm getting this for a bit over $100. so... i'm looking it as a $100 toy that i can use to test out Mac to PC Network/Sharing.

On Crucial website it says that it's only upgradeable to 128 64x2
but it seems like other people has this thing up to 160 +

it takes sodimm... but can i put in 133mhz sodimm in this?

i guess i'm wondering if vram and cache can be upgraded.

Here is some information that may be of use.

There is a company by the name of Sonnet Technologies that makes 500Mhz and 600Mhz G3 upgrades for that model. They are kind of pricey though.

it looks like i'm getting that imac for about 130.

i'll probably add 128mb ram to it and see how far it'll o/c when i remove that passive heatsink with alpha.

I have an old 266 imac in the house. I popped in an extra 256MB RAM and it runs OS X (slowly). I've been looking into upgrading and the Sonnet Harmoni that WorkingDude mentioned seems to be one of the best options. Here's another alternative:

well... i donno about spending $300 on a upgrade card.

i guess, personally, i'm looking at this imac as a toy.
i already have 2 AMD machines at home... for all the processing needs.

but without upgrading the cpu, i want to test out how fast i can o/c the original cpu with an active heatsink.

sure, it'll make some more noise... with the addition of fan...
and perhaps some of you mac fanatics will hang me for doing it...
but hey, if i can get about 400mhz on this 233 G3, just by o/cing... i'm all over it.

i should have the machine by this weekend... so i'll keep you guys informed.
