I rented it. It sucked massively, except for the mild amount of nostalgia. There were plot holes all over the place. The main enjoyment I got out of it was trying to decide if the programmer was the evil MCP guy from tron and which movie or TV show the general was in recently - he now looks like wilford brimley.

I dont think its a big secret you are referenceing other Matthew Broderick films. The problem is the funny is only about ~1.4/10 at best. If your gonna derail a thread, at least make it with a > 5/10 funnay.
