getting dressed for school today I realized... it's time. I've put it off for several years now (with the occasional shirt given to me in the meantime).

But I don't want to spend $70-80 on pants and $40 on shirts. Where do you guys shop for clothes that have good value (price/quality ratio).

I like polo type shirts, sweaters, long-sleeve button up shirts, Jeans... and I love Jackets! I would rather buy a load of jackets than a bunch of shirts (except my current supply is sucking rather hard right now ) Can ya tell I live in a cold place?

If you aren't willing to spend atleast $50-$80 on pants and $30-$40 on shirts, I can not help you. Hit up Express though and see what you can find. They might have sale going on.

Don't mock... i don't buy most of my clothes. my grandmother and aunts buy them for me, but i go to a place called Value City. it's similar to TJMaxx or Marshalls. I find TONS of name brands like AE and calvin klein and the like for very cheap.

Its all about how you put the outfit together, not where you buy it.
If I shop, i go to Hollister because its the only place that the pants fit.
I also really like Marshall Fields too.

Plus, no matter where you go, look for sales racks

I'm telling you man, go to Filene's Basement.

Website.

If there is one in your area I strongly recommend it. They have GREAT prices on designer stuff. You can find $80-$100 jeans there for $30-$35. same goes for shirts. You can find some nice Kenneth Kole or DKNY stuff (or whatever brand you please) for like $25 easily.

They also have T-shirts and stuff too. I picked up 3 Guess T-Shirts (nice fitting ones, not like to go workout in) for $8/each.

It's kind of like marahsalls, ross, and tjmaxx, but they ALWAYS have A LOT of great stuff. at those other stores you will see so much crap that sucks and hardly find stuff you like sometimes. Not at this store, its always good stuff.

You only need two stores: Expres and Abercrombie & Fitch. My entire wardrobe, along with maybe one or two things from Hollister, comes from those two stores. NO, I don't pop my collar, but they have excellent quality clothing and it's always in style.

I bought a nice pair of shoes way cheap at value city a while ago, I didn't really browse thier clothes though. Is Value City the same as Ross?

No offense, but Express clothes is kind of fruity.....I have also bought two pairs of paints there and they absolutlely kill my crotch. DO guys who wear those pants have no pen1s or something?

I buy stuff on clearance at various places. Kohls, mall stores, etc.

You can get quality clothes, but you can't be impatient. I recently picked up a bunch of Docker's shirts for $5/each at some Sports Academy Store. These typically go for $25. They're wrinkle resistance, stain resistant, etc. Very nice.

I dress very classical. I don't wear anything with writing on it.

It doesn't look like they take internet orders, and there are no locations anywhere near me :(

Pants from dockers, banana republic, and sometimes express. Its true about the crotch killer cuts.

Shirts from express and banana. I always get those stretch ones.
