but... I have a sore throat right now, very little (to no nasal congestion), I'm scheduled to have surgery (SLAT repair) on Thursday. What should I look out for (I'm obviously waiting for the anasthesiologist's answer and will take his advice) just thought I'd ask AAT.

What's SLAT repair?
Why are you calling the anesthesiologist?
What's AAT?

Better contact your surgeon. Non-emergency surgery is usually best postponed if you have ANY kind of infection in your system.

I would assume they are going to postpone it. It is better to be totally healthy when having elective surgery, even if you have the slightest cold.
