Im flying home in the morning to be with my dying Dad. He is in the very end stage of cancer, we have known this day would come for the last 12 years.
Well its very close and Im not a happy camper.
Thats it I just felt like telling someone.

Sorry to hear that 🙁 Make sure the time you have with him to express your love and feelings for him.

Thanks for the words guys. I know its strang but hearing kind words from strangers can make you feel a little better.

Both of my parents were cancer victims. The waiting can often be the most difficult part, because you want them to end their suffering and be in a better place. Your family will be in our prayers.

Also, don't make the mistake of holding your emotions. Let them out freely, it is ok for men to cry 🙂 I held my anger for many years, and long suffered emotional problems from it. Please don't make that mistake.

You have my sympathies. I lost my mom last year and wasn't able to say goodbye. Like others have said don't hold anything back.

its tough man... my dad has been smoking heavily for 25 years and it is starting to take a serious toll.. plus he never goes to the doctor so I'm afraid one day he's going find out its too late to do anything for him. only 40 yrs old with 2 daughters (my little sisters) still in gradeschool

show your father that you can be strong in the face of such sadness, I'm sure he will be proud
