160 grams of bread flour and 160 grams of milk converts to 1.17 cup and 2/3 cup respectively.

this came as a suprise to me, no wonder my previous attemp at baking without consideration for the weight to volume conversion ends up with burnt pieces of puffy bread.

baking ingredients are best measured by wieght. volume allows for too much compaction and the ratios get off.

lol, after converting a few items, i agree, doing conversion by hand is for the birds...

i'm going to buy a precision kitchen scale at TARGET after work.
